Some Rechargeable Alkaline Characteristics
- RA's have fewer recharge cycles than Ni-MH or Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries.
- Alkaline Rechargeable Batteries lose capacity every time you charge them.
- After few cycles, an RA could have HALF the capacity of a new RA.
- RA's have lower starting capacity than regular Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
- Alkaline Rechargeable Batteries also require a special charger.
- They behave just like regular Alkaline's.
- Alkaline Rechargeable Batteries are not designed for high-drain devices like digital cameras.
- High internal resistance, results in a low load current capability ( not greater than 500mA ).
