Trickle charge pros & cons - 2007/05/20 19:44
There are some chargers that have that trickle feature, but....
1st of all, for it to keep the batteries at full for extended periods of time you would have to leave it plugged in 24/7 which I think is kinda silly.
It might be better to just put the batteries in the charge once every 2-3 weeks. That way whatever energy the batteries discharged (not too much after that long) will be replenished and they'll be kept full once they are charged.
If you want a charger with a trickle feature try this one: http://www.bestlaptopbattery.com/search.cfm?SearchStr=mo-3950
i've had good results with it. It is also a 2 hour charger (funny thing is it take 2 hours to charge 2 batteries, and 4 hours to charge 4, but it still works great). It even came with some 2700 AA rechargeables instead of some stupid 2000's like most chargers do)
